Welcome to the Pulse Fabrication website!

History

As a fourth generation Idahoan and outdoors enthusiast, I come from a long line of boaters, backpackers and active recreationalists.

History - Grandparents

As for me personally, I have been extremely fortunate in my limited river experience (by comparison to close family and friends) to have been invited to boat with people with far more insight and river knowledge than I. My brother Nick should be most credited for getting me interested in white water because he was the one who drug out my father's/grandfather’s old boat gear and start heading up to the main Payette every weekend.

History - Parents

I am a third generation Idaho boater with roots firmly placed in Idaho. With my mother's family(Val) from both the Northern and Southern regions of the state (Murtuagh and Nez Pierce) and my father(Rick) from Southern Idaho(Nampa and Boise). I have been blessed to have seen much of the state as well as spending many summer weekends on the Main Salmon in the Frank Church wilderness.

My personal river preferences would have to be a float on any of the great Idaho rivers. Whether it be a flatwater float on the beautiful Clearwater river in North Idaho, the relatively close Cabarton stretch with a great balance of white water action and scenery on the Payette or a isolated float down the challenging desert river of the lower Owyhee in Idaho/Oregon.

As for boat gear, besides the products we make I would strongly suggest using a well built and company backed Maravia. I personally believe Maravia builds the most durable and attractive boats on the market, not to mention they are made in Idaho- you can’t beat that!
